Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of obsidiankeys.com and every purchase you make through it. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order you accept them.

1. Who we are
Obsidian Keys is a trading name of HYPERION MOTION LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17358996, with its registered office at Academy House, 11 Dunraven Place, Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan CF31 1JF, United Kingdom.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean HYPERION MOTION LTD. “You” means the person placing an order or using the site.

2. About these terms
These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Delivery Policy, Refund & Returns Policy and Right of Withdrawal. Where a specific policy gives you more detail on a subject, that detail applies.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
3. Who may buy
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. Some products carry an age rating set by their publisher; buying a key does not exempt you from that rating, and you are responsible for meeting it.
You may buy for your own use or as a gift. You may not buy for resale.
4. Your account
You can browse and search without an account. If you create one, keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
5. What we sell, and what a listing means
We sell digital activation keys for games and downloadable content, software licences, and gift cards. Everything is delivered as a code. There is nothing physical to ship.
We are a reseller. We are not a publisher, and we are not an official partner of any platform unless a page says so explicitly. Product names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners and are used to identify what a key unlocks.
Our catalogue comes from a managed supplier catalogue that synchronises throughout the day. Products, prices and availability change without notice. A listing is an invitation to buy, not an offer we are bound by.
Every listing states the platform the key is for and the region in which it will activate. Please check both before you buy.
6. Prices
Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include any tax we are required to charge. The price shown on the product page at the moment you order is the price you pay. We do not add fees at the final step.
Because our catalogue refreshes continuously, a price can change between the moment you first see it and the moment you order. If a price is obviously wrong, a pricing error rather than a low price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price. We will tell you if we do.
Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency conversion or charges. Those are outside our control.
7. Your order and when a contract is made
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you the key, not when you pay. Until then we may decline the order, for example if the product has become unavailable, if a price was wrong, or if a fraud check is not passed.
If we decline an order after taking payment, we refund you in full.
8. Payment and fraud checks
Payment is taken through the methods shown at checkout. We do not store your full card details.
A small share of orders is held for a manual fraud check. Held orders are released within two hours during support hours. If an order has not been delivered within 24 hours, it is cancelled and refunded in full automatically, without you having to ask.
9. Delivery
Delivery is electronic. Your key appears on the order confirmation screen and is sent to the email address on your order, normally within a minute of payment clearing, and remains available in your account.
Please make sure your email address is correct. We are not responsible for a key sent to an address you mistyped, though we will always try to help.

10. Your right to cancel
You normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase without giving a reason. Digital content is different, and the difference matters here.
If you have not revealed or redeemed the key, you keep that right. Cancel within 14 days and we refund you.
If you have revealed or redeemed the key, the right to cancel ends. By asking us to supply the key immediately you consent to supply beginning at once and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel. This is set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and it is what allows a key shop to exist at all.

11. If something is wrong with your key
Losing the right to cancel does not affect your rights if a key is faulty or not as described. Specifically:
- The key never arrived. Full refund, automatic after 24 hours.
- The key does not work, or was already redeemed. We replace it. If we cannot replace it, you get a full refund.
- The region does not match what we told you. Our mistake and our cost: replacement or full refund, whichever you prefer.
Tell us within a reasonable time of discovering the problem, and do not redeem a key you believe is faulty if you can avoid it: an unredeemed key is easier for us to replace.

12. Regions and platforms
Many keys activate only in a stated region, and this is set by the publisher, not by us. Attempting to activate outside the stated region may fail or may put the account at risk, and we cannot refund a key that failed because it was used outside the region shown on its listing.
You also need an account with the relevant platform to redeem a key. Their terms apply to that account, and we have no control over them.
13. Acceptable use
You may not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it systematically, or to buy for resale. You may not use another person’s payment details without their authority.
We may cancel orders and close accounts where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
14. Availability of the site
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw any part of it, and we may change the catalogue, at any time.
15. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We supply our products for domestic and private use. We have no liability for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
16. Your personal data
We use your personal data only as set out in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.
17. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us first: most things are quicker to fix directly. Write to info@obsidiankeys.com or use our Contact us page.

18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. A change never applies retrospectively to an order already placed.
19. Governing law
These terms and any contract made under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own country, and nothing here removes a right you have under the law where you live.
20. Other terms
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not insist that you do something you are required to do, that does not prevent us from insisting later.
This contract is between you and us. Nobody else has a right to enforce it.
