Buying a game key online carries one real risk: paying for something that turns out to be the wrong region, the wrong platform, or nothing at all. Obsidian Keys exists to take that risk off the table.
We keep one managed catalog instead of an open marketplace. Every listing carries its platform and its region before you reach checkout, because a key that works everywhere except where you live is not a discount: it is a loss.
The problem we are solving
Most key shops are built to move you to checkout as fast as possible. Region sits in a dropdown you never opened. Platform is a line in a description three scrolls down. Stock counters tick without being connected to anything. By the time you find out what you actually bought, the key has been revealed and the shop has stopped answering.
We took the opposite approach. The two facts that decide whether a key will work, platform and region, are the first two things you see, on every card, in every filter, on every product page. Nothing about this is clever. It is just the information you needed, put where you were already looking.
How buying works
1. Filter with the facts visible. Platform, region and price are filters, not fine print. Narrow the catalog until only keys that will actually activate for you remain.
2. Pay. Card or any of the payment methods shown at checkout. The price you saw is the price you pay: no fees appear at the last step.
3. Get your key. Delivery is automatic. Your key appears on the confirmation screen and in your email, usually within a minute of the payment clearing, and it stays in your account under My account → Orders for as long as your account exists.
A small share of orders is held for a manual fraud check. This protects you as much as us, because chargebacks are what force other shops to cancel keys after they have already been delivered. Held orders are released within two hours during support hours. If an order has not been delivered within 24 hours, it is cancelled and refunded in full, automatically, without you having to ask for it.

Where our catalog comes from
Our listings come from a single managed supplier catalog, synchronised around the clock. We do not let individual sellers post their own listings, which means there is no seller reputation for you to research and no gap between what a listing claims and what our own system knows about it.
The sync runs continuously. When a product goes out of stock or is withdrawn upstream, it disappears here too. You will not find a dead listing that takes your money and then apologises.
We are a reseller, not a publisher. We do not claim to be an official partner of any platform, and we do not put publisher logos on our pages to imply otherwise. Every product name and trade mark belongs to its owner.
If something goes wrong
Digital keys have one awkward property: once you have seen a key, you cannot un-see it. That makes returns different from physical goods, so here is exactly where we stand.
- The key never arrived. Full refund, no questions. Automatic after 24 hours.
- The key does not work, or was already redeemed. We replace it. If we cannot replace it, you get a full refund.
- The region does not match what we told you. Our mistake, our cost. Replacement or full refund, whichever you prefer.
- You changed your mind and have not revealed the key. You keep the standard 14-day right of withdrawal. Cancel and we refund you.
- You changed your mind after revealing the key. This is the one case where we cannot help. Once digital content has been supplied with your consent, the right of withdrawal ends.
That last rule is not us being difficult. It is the law, and it is also the only thing standing between a key shop and everyone redeeming a key and then asking for their money back. Shops that ignore it do not stay open, and their customers lose keys that were already paid for.

Where the name comes from
Obsidian is volcanic glass: black, hard, and formed in a single event that either works or does not. It has been used for cutting tools for ten thousand years and it holds an edge sharper than surgical steel.
It also breaks honestly. Obsidian fractures along a clean curved surface, so you can always see the shape of the break. That is a reasonable thing for a shop to aspire to: hold an edge, and when something does break, let it break where everyone can see it.
Our mark is a seal cut from it, with a keyhole through the centre.
